Excursions to sites of cultural and historical interest are planned as an integral part of our academic program. Several excursions will be planned during the semester. Destinations typically include Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, Sagunto or Peniscola.
These excursions are funded by the program’s activity fee. During long weekends, intersession, or vacations, it will be offered some optional weekend trips to different parts of Europe (even Morocco and Sahara Dessert!).
The on-site staff will keep you informed of these opportunities. There are also many activities in Valencia itself. You can visit first-class museums, attend concerts and plays, or simply relax on the beach.
One of the most exciting festivals in Spain, the Fallas, occurs in Valencia in March. A week-long celebration in the middle of Spring Program, the Fallas festival is marked by flowers, music, traditional costumes and dances, and lots of fireworks. People travel from all corners of Spain to experience this wonderful celebration!
